A Day At Disneyland - One Direction Oneshot

    "Come on, come on, come on, please?" Liam jumped up and down in front of the boys, clutching his hands together like a child.

    "Liam, no," Harry said lazily, yawning from his laying position on the hotel bed; the boys were in California for a photo shoot and a few interviews.

    "That's not fair, it's just one day!" Liam complained, sighing.

    Zayn shrugged from his seat. "Hey, it could be fun."

    Niall looked from Zayn, to Liam, to Harry and gave his own shrug. "I don't see why not."

    Harry snorted in Niall's general direction. "You agree? Niall, you hate anything Disney related."

    Niall rolled his eyes and flung his pillow at Harry, hitting him square in the face. "Doesn't mean the park can't be fun."

    Liam kept jumping and pointed at Niall. "See? He agrees, Zayn agrees, I agree, Louis hasn't said no. It's practically 4 to 1. Please Harry."

    Harry rolled his eyes and sighed, feeling entirely too lazy to even move. But it was decided for him. "Alright, fine, fine, we'll go to Disney Land for the day."

    Liam ran forward and hugged Harry so hard he picked him up off the bed, causing Harry to yelp slightly. "Oi, watch the ribs."

    Liam set him back down carefully, "Oh, sorry." He skipped over to his bag excitedly.

    "DISNEY LAND!" He yelled, grabbing a pair of sunglasses from his bag. "Let's go now."

    The rest of the lads groaned, but figured it'd still be a good day, and rose from their positions around the hotel room.

     Not even ten minutes later, they were seated in the One Direction Mobile, heading toward Disney Land.
    "Can we even ride the stupid rides? We can make a day of it." Liam suggested, watching out of the window like he was expecting to see a unicorn pop up beside the van.

    "Yes, okay? We can ride all the stupid rides and make a day of it," Harry chuckled from where he was sitting.

    "Good, this is going to be an amazing day." Liam bounced in his seat, barely able to control himself. The rest of the boys smirked to themselves, relishing the moments of childishness that Daddy Direction sometimes showed. Getting a whole day of it was a very rare event, and anyone would be crazy to pass up on it.

     "This'll be so much fun." Liam said, bouncing around like a child on too much sugar, complete with Mickey ears perched on top of his head.

    "Liam, calm the hell down. It's just Disney Land." Niall said, fascinated at Liam like he was with everything, smiling. "Alright, Liam, you wanted to come, so where do you want to go first."

    Liam proudly put one hand on his waist and made the other one into a fist, directing them like a superhero. "Off to Space Mountain!" He called, the boys followed behind him and laughed.

    Turns out they had a lot more fun than they originally anticipated. They rode Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion. Every ride that section of the park had to offer, they rode it. Eventually they found themselves in a toy shop, Liam gazing longingly at a Buzz Lightyear plushy doll through the window.

    "You have enough Toy Story memorabilia to open up a museum, c'mon." Harry pulled on Liam's elbow until Liam regretfully left the shop.

    Zayn, however, watched until the boys left. "Zayn?" Niall asked, peeking back into the shop when he discovered Zayn wasn't following. Zayn waved him away with his hand.
 
    "I'll catch up, hang on a second." Niall nodded and retreated from the shop. Zayn waited until he was sure Niall was gone before he picked up the plushy, carrying it to the counter and giving the woman behind the cash register his money. He then hid it inside the little satchel he was carrying around, and smiled to himself, going in the direction Niall went.

"This is the corniest ride I've ever seen in my life." Harry commented, leaning against the bar they were by and crossing his arms. The boys where in line for the Teacup ride, waiting in single file line while being guided by the metal railings.

    "Oh lighten up, Haz, it's not like we've never done anything childish." Louis pinched Harry's cheek softly and smiled cheekily. Harry sighed and shook his head, smiling at Louis in the way he usually does; a mixture of constant amusement, fondness, and admiration.

    "Yeah, okay, okay, I'll shut up now."

    "Thank God, you've been complaining all day." Niall said, smirking as he received a shove from Harry. Liam was positively glowing, and Zayn stood behind him, brooding and silent as per usual.  By this time, Niall had donned a blue wizard hat with Mickey ears on the side, Louis had Mickey ears, and Zayn had grudgingly put on a pair of Minnie ears, complete with a little bow in the middle.

    "You three look so cute." Harry said, finally beginning to warm up to his day and was smiling.

    "They do." Liam said, smiling back at Zayn.

     Eventually, they got to the front, but upon getting there, they found they'd have to split into two groups, one group of three, and a group of two. "I'll go with Harry, I want to make him have fun on this." Liam said, grabbing Harry's arm and dragging him off to a Teacup. Louis looked at Zayn and Niall and shrugged.

    "Shall we then, lads?" He asked as the other two nodded. Zayn couldn't help but feel weirdly disappointed that Liam saddled himself with Harry so fast, but he tried to shrug it off.

    The teacups spun much faster than Zayn anticipated. He was leaning over the side, his head spinning along with the teacup. "Eerrruughh..." He complained, feeling dizzy.

    Louis had thrown his hands up somewhere along the ride and was having the time of his life. "Let's go faster next round!" He yelled excitedly.

    "Wooh!" Niall yelled happily, throwing his arms up like Louis.

    "Ugh, there's going to be a next round?" Zayn asked miserably, attempting to keep from swaying as the cup slowed down, signaling the end of the ride.

    The boys met up with Harry and Liam at the exit section, Harry genuinely smiling. The other boys didn't know what Liam had done, but he was a magic worker nonetheless.

    "Can we go again?" Niall and Louis asked in unison, making Liam smile happily.

    "See? I said you'd have fun." He glanced at Harry and Zayn as if to ask if they were going.

    "I"m not doing that again." Zayn said, clutching his stomach for dramatic effect. Harry laughed and clapped Zayn on the back softly.

    "You three can go, I'll have to have a teacup by myself, and I don't want to, so I'll just stay back with Zayn." Liam, Niall, and Louis nodded and set off to get in the line again, which was surprisingly shorter than it was the first time; probably since it was getting close to being dark. Zayn and Harry stayed on the sidelines, watching happily as Niall, Louis, and Liam seemed to have the time of their lives.

    "He likes you back, you know." Harry said causally, leaning against the railing as he watched Louis intently.

    Zayn's face instantly reddened. "Erm, what?"

    Harry's eyes flickered to Liam for a fraction of a second before he smirked and went back to Louis. "Liam. He likes you back."

    Zayn tried to hide the blush creeping up his face. "Liam? Of course he likes me, we're mates, brothers practically." Harry flipped his head back and forth and adjusted his bangs nonchalantly.

    "You know what I mean. And don't deny it, I've seen the way you look at him. I look at Louis the same way."

    Zayn couldn't help but laugh, despite how embarrassed he was. "Yeah, mate, we can all tell the way you look at Louis, and the way he looks at you."

    Harry nodded, smiling to himself. "Sure. But that's beside the point. Anyways, Liam likes you. He looks at you the same way you look at him, trust me."

    Zayn elbowed Harry, "Since when are you a relationship expert, Mr. Ladies Man?"

    Harry laughed, "Ever since I stopped being a Ladies Man and became a Louis' Man. Besides, I notice things, trust me."

    Zayn decided to laugh it off. "Yeah, okay, whatever." Harry just laughed in reply, rolled his eyes, and continued looking at Louis.

    Not too long after Niall, Louis, and Liam got off their ride, the boys were headed up the sidewalk to watch the lights parade, ending with some fireworks. To be honest, they were all excited.

    "I can't wait," It wasn't Liam who said it this time, it was Harry.

    "Harry? How dare you? You've let your crabby attitude drop. How dare you act happy!" Louis made a face like he was appalled and laid one hand on his chest.

    Harry laughed and shoved Louis' shoulder. "Hush it, BooBear, I like fireworks." Louis stuck his tongue out at Harry and continued walking.

     "Let's stand as close to the street as possible. I want to see everything." Niall said excitedly, directing the rest of his bandmates to a spot he thought was perfect.

    "And you guys thought I was excited." Liam said, smiling.

    "That's because you were. And now we're all excited about fireworks and a light parade." Niall replied, smiling.

     Zayn stood as close to Liam as he possibly could without raising questions as the light parade began. His eyes were soon assaulted with tons of Neon colors whirling all around as people and characters paraded up the street in front of him. When it was over, he almost wished it would all come back; the colors were so gorgeous and bright. The fireworks started soon after that, lighting up the sky with pops and booms and brilliant colors. Zayn figured now was a good a time as any to get Liam's attention.

    "Hey, Liam." Zayn said, having to tap on Liam's shoulder because his voice was drowned out by the boom of the fireworks.

    Liam turned to him, the pyrotechnic lights sparkling in his eyes. "Yeah, Zayn?" He asked.

    Zayn shyly swung the satchel around and unzipped the pocket, pulling out the Buzz Lightyear plushy from earlier. "I bought this for you when the boys left the shop. I know they said you didn't need it, but you looked so happy looking at it." He smiled hopefully up at Liam, and saw the smile reciprocated tenfold.

    Liam had a look on his face like Zayn was handing him the Holy Grail. "B-Buzz? You bought the Buzz toy for me?" Liam's face looked so child-like in that moment that Zayn felt his heart swell. Damn, Liam was cute.

    "Yep. I bought you the Buzz toy. Here." Zayn handed the toy over to Liam, and Liam took it like it was fragile, handling it carefully.

    "Oh thank you Zayn!" He called out, drawing Zayn into a tight bear hug, which Zayn didn't mind at all.

    Over Liam's shoulder, Zayn could see Harry smirking at him cockily, and Zayn rolled his eyes. Liam pulled back and kissed Zayn's cheek softly, smiling at him, practically beaming. In that moment, Zayn knew Harry was right, Liam smiled at him the same way he smiled at Liam.
